My first job out of college was with ING Financial Partners (now Voya Financial), providing education to Commonwealth of Massachusetts 457(b) Deferred Compensation plan participants. I continued servicing those same plan participants when Great-West (now Empower) took over administration and record-keeping services for the plan. Both firms were instrumental in allowing me to pursue additional education, including my CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® (CFP) designation.
After earning my CFP, I needed to make a jump to start diving into more complex planning work. So, I took on a role with Financial Foundations, where I learned how to be a real financial advisor.
After nearly five years at Financial Foundations, my desire to build the firm that I would be proud of began. I returned to work with Voya to build what became Madison House. We have raised the bar of what it means to be a retirement plan advisor, all while building a wealth management firm focused on delivering high-quality advice and portfolios that serve the aspirations of a financial plan.
